These main idea maze activities will allow your students to practice determining and identifying main ideas and details in the most engaging way!
Ideal for 4th and 5th graders, but can be adapted to be used with younger or older kids.
HOW IT WORKS:
- Students read the main idea statement provided.
- Next, they find the path that leads to FINISH by following ONLY the details that are supporting details of the main idea statement.
- The letters along the correct maze path will spell out a mystery word, therefore they can self-check if they are correct!
- They can complete in printable or digital format.
