Thanksgiving Persuasive Writing Activity | Print + Digital

This Thanksgiving persuasive writing activity is the perfect November writing project. Students will write from the point of view of a turkey and create a persuasive paragraph or essay to try and convince people NOT to eat them this Thanksgiving. Students love using their creativity to write this assignment and often say it was their favorite of the whole year!

Optional Disguise A Turkey Extension Activity Idea:

Have students create a turkey in disguise out of construction paper so that it makes it hard for Americans to find them and cook them. They LOVE taking their turkeys home to share with their families on Thanksgiving. Link to a FREE turkey in disguise template is included in this resource.
